You may view and print one copy of the materials from our website solely for your personal, non-commercial use (under the condition that the materials are not modified in an way, and that notices of copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices are kept intact).  Secondly, you must not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, transmit or distribute our materials without our prior written consent of Algebrains.  Thirdly, you must not sell, rent or sub-license materials from our website, nor exploit materials from our website for any commercial purpose.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

No refunds will be offered on downloadable course materials purchased via our website.  

For classroom or webinar courses under £50 per course per person, but where the Purchaser chooses to cancel within 24-hours prior to the scheduled course start-time, no refunds nor credit will be given.  Should a course cancellation arise due to us, a full refund (100%) shall be offered should the parties fail to agree on a rescheduled date.

Payments & Value Added Tax

All prices quoted on our website are inclusive of all taxes & VAT.  Algebrains will accept payment in Pound Sterling (GBP) via card payment (VISA, MasterCard & American Express) and PayPal.  For PayPal users, it is the responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure their personal details (name, delivery address, email...) are accurate within their PayPal account prior to making payment.  Purchasers may link their credit card(s), debit card(s) or bank account(s) to fund their purchases via PayPal. Please visit www.paypal.com to create or login to your PayPal account.  Algebrains shall deem the Purchaser's delivery address, conveyed from their PayPal account, as the jurisdiction of purchase for tax purposes.  This is particularly pertinent to customers domiciled in European Union ("EU") Member States where Algebrains will levy Value Added Tax ("VAT") as required by law.  Customers domiciled outside the EU-VAT member states are exempt from EU-VAT.

Electronic Materials

The materials available for purchase, via our BrainStore, shall become downloadable as a PDF file by the Purchaser.  These materials can be opened by installing Acrobat Reader DC (www.adobe.com) or other PDF reader applications onto your computer.  The Purchaser must observe and comply with our Copyright policy all times (see above).

Data Protection

We shall not be sharing your data with any other third party.   We only collect and hold i) names & year group of your child(ren), ii) names, email and contact telephone number of parent/guardian (to be used for announcements and instances of emergencies).  Your personal data shall be disposed 1-year after receiving the last service, or disposed upon receiving your explicit consent.  Algebrains is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Liability

The educational information on this website and hosted training events are for educational purposes only, and are not intended nor should be construed as providing advice.  Educational material created for children are also intended simultaneously for their parents and guardians.  No child (under 18-years of age) may attend courses organised by Algebrains without the supervision and presence of their parent(s) or guardian(s).  Algebrains and its staff will accept no liability for your own actions, and you will hold Algebrains and its staff harmless in any and all ways.
