Policies

Prior to admission, we ask parents to read and accept our 'welcome letter' with terms, and to respect the following rules or exercise the below guidance.

1)  There is an implicit appreciation that learning requires hard work.  We will work hard to develop content and coach your child.  Similarly, your child is expected to follow-up on their learning at home by reading their hand written notes, reading our slides or practicing some of our course content, reading from their text books and reading quality newspapers or literature.

2)  GCSE Maths and Sciences have formidable content.   We have observed Y11 parents leaving it too late to seek help...wishing they have found us earlier.  Our students who have joined us from Y6 to Y9 have developed good habits and vocabulary to excel in their senior years.

3)  We have limited classroom space...and there is usually a waiting list for new students. We encourage students to attend consistently and regularly so there is continuity and momentum in their learning.  If we deem a student's attendance pattern is not supportive of their learning, then we will inform you that your seat allocation will be surrendered.  Non-attendance three weekends in a row will usually be construed as automatic withdrawal.
